New Jersey Vaccine Voice
The Spring 2009 issue of the New Jersey Vaccine Voice includes information and resources to for you, your practice staff, and patients. Of prime importance is New Jersey's Immunization Rate for Children 19-35 months. According to the National Immunization Survey, for the 4313314 series, New Jersey ranked fifth from bottom nationwide. The State has never done as poorly in delivering timely immunizations. It is crucial for providers to give the 4th dose of DTaP at 12 months (provided dose #3 is given at 6 months) and the 4th dose of Prevnar at 12 months. Doing so will help us boost our ranking.
