Physician Accreditation Statements
This Enduring Material activity, Cultural Competency and Cancer Screening has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 2.5 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP certification begins January 2, 2012. Term of approval is for two years from this date. Each web cast is approved for .50 Prescribed credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association (AMA) as equivalent to AMA PRA category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as prescribed credit, not as category 1.
PLEASE NOTE: The system will automatically submit credit for AAFP members.
