Unique Workshops Focus on Financial Survival For Family Physicians

Filed under:

The NJAFP is offering two unique pre-conference workshops designed to help family physicians survive financially, and take steps to rediscover the joy in practicing family medicine.  To say that these are difficult economic times for NJ primary care would be an understatement, but some practicing family physicians have found ways to remain not only solvent, but financially successful.  Primary Care physicians and their office staffs are invited to come learn some immediate steps that they can take to implement the techniques and tactics that these successful physicians have discovered.  At a second workshop, attendees will hear from a panel of leaders from across the country who will discuss emerging systems in primary care.  NJAFP Vice President, and program chair for the event, Bob Eidus, MD, MBA says "Primary care is in crisis. But rather than dwell on the danger, a core group of family physicians are focusing on the opportunity, changing the business of medicine and not just surviving but succeeding in practicing medicine in a way most family physicians only dream about."
