Seeking positon as a Family Physician in your practice

I am a recent graduate from UMDNJ-RWJMS Family Medicine Residency Program in Centrastate Hospital, Freehold NJ, and I am writing to express an interest in the full time/ part time position in your medical practice.
Prior to attending residency, I worked as an observer under the supervision of Dr. Ramesh Bhatia at Jamaica Hospital in Queens. This experience helped me in understanding the fundamentals of pediatrics ER. I also worked as a research assistant to Dr. Rao at Nephrology department in Tufts Medical College, Boston.
I am a very compassionate, hard working, personable and a consummate professional and I enjoy being a family physician. I have known from the time my grandma was cared for by a family physician that I wanted to be a doctor and Family Medicine was the right path for me. During my residency, I have gained proficiency in the use of electronic medical record and electronic prescription software. This system has allowed me to achieve an extremely high level of patient satisfaction and to develop a large continuity panel.
During my residency, I developed relationships with my patients while providing patient care which has been a most rewarding experience. An important focus of my residency was the expertise in skin procedures like punch biopsy, cryotherapy, toe nail removal and minor ER procedures. I also did over one hundred colposcopy and cryotherapy procedures under a trained physician. Balancing quality of care with patient volume and still addressing patient needs are a few of the achievements that I am proud to have.
This residency experience has allowed me to furthur develop management skills, leadership qualities and enhanced professionalism. I am proud that members of my residency team consider me to be conscientious, knowledgeable and "gentle and charming professional." I am a strong physician and a person, whether working independently or as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
