Perspectives: A View of Family Medicine in NJ Online
Perspectives is the Journal of the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians. It is published four times per year and reaches over 2000 Family Physicians, physicans-in-training, select non-member physicians and medical students throughout New Jersey.

- How do I submit an article for publication?
Clinical articles, letters to the editor and other submissions for publication should be submitted - preferably electronically as MS Word documents - to the Managing Editor, Theresa Barrett, MS, CMP at tjb@njafp.org.
The Editors reserve the right to accept or reject any article or advertising material and cannot be responsible for items submitted such as pictures, etc.

The Parkinson's Disease Caregiver's Guide
The New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians is pleased to announce the availability of a free, downloadable guide for people who want to learn more about Parkinson's Disease (PD) and the important role of caring for someone with Parkinson's Disease. The Parkinson's Disease Caregiver's Guide provides an overview of Parkinson's Disease, a Parkinson's Disease glossary, important questions to ask a family physician regarding Parkinson's Disease, patient self-assessment materials to facilitate awareness and understanding of wearing-off, recommendations to improve patient-physician communications, a discussion of intra-disciplinary care for Parkinson's Disease patients and information regarding Parkinson's Disease patient advocacy groups, care giving organizations, and other resources.
